A. Everything we do is to save our shoppers money on the food and products they want most. Rather than hire extra staff to answer phones and retrieve carts, our employees stay focused on serving our shoppers in stores. This saves us money, but more importantly we pass those savings on to our customers. Our website (aldi.us) has information about our store locations and hours, current and upcoming ALDI Finds, answers to your frequently asked questions (FAQs) and a way to contact our customer service team should you have any specific questions.

A. When it comes to choosing store locations, we look at many factors. We want the best sites that are closest to our shoppers and can support a high daily traffic volume. As the demand for ALDI grows, so do our real estate options. Once we have confirmed a new site, we advertise new store openings on our website and the ALDI USA Facebook. Visit our Grand Openings page to see if and when an ALDI is coming to a neighborhood near you.

A. Service Animal Policy
ALDI is committed to making reasonable modifications in policies, practices, and procedures to permit individuals with disabilities to be accompanied by service animals in our stores. Because service animals play an important role in ensuring the independence of individuals with disabilities, we welcome service animals even if state and local health codes do not allow other animals into our stores. Service animals are dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to work or perform tasks for individuals with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Service animals are not allowed in shopping carts, baskets or ALDI provided wheelchair/motorcart attachments, even if on a mat, crated or in an animal carrier.
- A service animal must have a harness, leash, or other tether, unless the handler is either unable to use the same because of a disability, or the use of the same would interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of work or tasks. In such case, the service animal must otherwise be under the handler’s control, such as through voice commands, signals, or other effective means.
Pets and Emotional Support Animals
- Pets and animals whose sole function is to provide emotional support and comfort or crime deterrence are not service animals under the ADA and are not permitted in our stores.
