Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
Craving a rich, chocolatey treat? Enjoy an elevated hot chocolate this season with an easy and decadent Hazelnut Hot Chocolate recipe!
Start by adding milk to a saucepan on medium-low heat. You can also use dairy-free ingredients to accommodate any dietary needs! Once the milk is warm, add cocoa powder, granulated sugar, cinnamon and hazelnut spread to the pot and let it dissolve into a sweet nectar. Continuously stir the mixture until all ingredients meld together to create the perfect creamy hot chocolate. It’s that simple! This is the perfect recipe to create at home with loved ones.
Pick out your favorite seasonal mug and pour the velvety hot chocolate into your cup of choice. Next, select fun toppings to add to your drink! We suggest whipped cream, your favorite shaved milk chocolate or dark chocolate, caramel syrup or additional hazelnut spread for an extra nutty flavor.
This fun drink can be enjoyed solo or as a group! Let guests and kids customize their own by serving a variety of toppings in separate bowls. Alternate garnish ideas include sprinkles, chocolate chips or crushed candy cane pieces during the holiday season.
Whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter, treat yourself to a delectable Hazelnut Hot Chocolate all year round!
